chloe is such a big girl now

Not only was it Chloe's first Thanksgiving this past weekend, but she had Turkey dinner with us and love it.

She had Turkey and turnip and.cauliflower with cheese sauce and some pumpkin pie for the first time and loved it all. Lol she also had some homemade buns and mashed potatoes (she has had potatoes before tho)

She also gave up her bottles completely this weekend and is only drinking from sippy cups now lol oh and it took one try for her to learn how to drink from a straw sippy and she loves it.

She has also started to get on her hands and knees and rock back and forth and sorta crawl backwards it was really cute. She also is trying to get into the sitting position now from laying down. She can sit by herself and stay sitting up a long time but couldn't get herself up
before.

Wow a lot of milestones in 3 days lol now that she is 8 months old. Lol love my baby girl. Lol

Awww I'm very jealous about the sippy cup. Dh is getting annoyed that I keep buying different ones lol I gave madi a piece of chicken the other night (she loved it!) and I thought my mil was going to have a heart attack.. 'I highly recommend waiting until she gets her molars before giving her meat' yeah um no.

Chloe has no teeth at all yet. She was fine. Lol

Yeah I told her that babies don't even use their teeth to chew so she was upset the rest of the meal lol

Hahaha. Ya lo loves toast I cut them in strips she holds them and.gums them to death. She lives pb on it or garlic cream cheese. Lol their gums are tough.

See I think madi is ready for all that stuff but dh doesn't want to do it bc his mom and her (old) dr say only puréed baby food until 9 months. She sees a new dr Friday so I'm going to ask her what he thinks. Madi does so well eating off her spoon, and she's a champ with her puffs so idk why no one will let me give her real food lol

Really its all about.if its appropriate size.for them to eat. Lol

She's 7 months and has been on baby food since 4 months. I read about the baby led weaning and wanted to do something similar but everyone freaked out on me. I think it will be easier to get dh on my side when we move out of his parents house.

It tells u that u can feed them anything but honey. Lol

Dh just freaks out bc the first bite she usually ends up coughing and gagging but I'm trying to get him to understand she's always going to do that if we don't let her learn.
