where in maine?? I have no friends up there. We're gonna be starting off in Readfield outside Augusta then idk!

thank you everyone, I'm gonna look up state laws, I gotta see how that works since I dont pay rent currently. and my parents think if I ever called the cops on them that I have been brought up wrong and will be a disgrace. smurfing batsmurf crazy lol

It doesn't matter if you pay rent or not, it is your established place of residence

If you receive mail or have been living there, you can not be kicked out with out notice. I know because my ex tried to throw me out of our apartment because I wasn't on the lease, the cops were called by neighbors and he told the cops he wanted me out now. The cops told him I couldn't be thrown out because there are laws and as long as I live there or receive mail there, I have a certain amount of time before I have to be out.

If you have no were to go and they are trying to throw you then you got to do what you got to do and call the cops it won't make you look like a piece of smurf so don't worry.

also you should be able to get govermet assistance they usully have income based appartments you just go put in an application you could also try for wic foodstamps and medicade and you can apply for all of that online good luck hope everything works out for you . my parents didn't react well either i got pregnant at 18 had herat 19 but they got over it and i am now happily married to my best friend of 10 years and expecting our 3rd daughter : )
