I'm in labor!!

My water broke at 2:30 am. It's now 4:25 & i am admitted in the hospital. Progressing rather slow, only 1cm dilated and about 40-50% effaced. I definitely wasn't expecting her this early, if you are the praying type please include me and my babygirl this morning. This is my first pregnancy and I'm very nervous. Will post more later...

why did you go to hospital so soon? were you expecting them to stop it?
My waters broke at 37 weeks, i was in active labour for 26 hours (normal btw, don't let the hospital fool you, give you an induction or labour in a terrible position - with no amniotic fluid that will cause you pain and your baby more likely to go into distress, cue c-section etc).. anyway after 26 hours i had an awesome water birth at home. Good luck and a cm in 2 hours is good progress to me. I was in labour 48 hours (induced) and only got to a 4 and then back to a 0. Don't let them scare you into anything. Just keep walking around and get that baby into the birth canal.

I'm not the praying type, but I'm sending good wishes your way. Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous though, I have the same due date you had.   I know my little man needs to bake a little longer, but I'm so ready to meet him.
