Oh that's great! I didn't know students had an option. Good to know the system helps somewhere.   And people don't realize that aid gets paid back by the child support OR that you HAVE to earn it.

What YOU Need to do is STOP comparing pepople (including yourself and your BD) to other people and set some goals for yourself, and yourSELF only. Then you'll gain some clarification. It honestly does not sound like this current SO is a great guy... if your mother weighs so strongly on your OWN actions, then maybe that's why you are settling. Once you start living for YOU and trusting yourself, things will become much more clear.

NP... I try to keep it fair. There's no point in attacking someone since we're are different people in different circumstances... and those who HAVEN'T been there are fortunate yet often fail to see it.   Tough decisions are what make us incredible people, if you let it.
