Well his college scholarship requires him to be unmarried until graduation and he graduates in May 2016, so we set the date October 9 for sentimental reasons.

Nawwwww. Congrats! I want a long engagement too  

mine is turning out to be long, even though i wanted to get married forreveerrr ago (for insurance reasons....90 bucks a week aint nothing to joke about!)

but he asked me after i gave up and was saving money for a house instead...and now he doesnt have a job so i have to save the money for living until he gets one.

blah. its almost been a year and we havent made any actual plans////
