me I had my boy 10 weeks early last week !
It is amazing what medication and what babies can do !
My son is a week old now only has a feeding tube and getting fed 3 hourly no oxygen or anything

it is scary to think about going this early, but twins routinely come this early and survive quite normally with medical technology these days. I was talking to a mom on the softball team I coach who also has twins. Her twins were born at 29 weeks.. right where i am now. She only gained 11 pounds and they were right around 1 pound each.. Today they are very healthy active 12-year old girls. My husband's son was also born around 27-29 wks, 17 years ago, also a healthy althletic boy. I think it's a fair question to ask because it would not be uncommon for december babies to be born around now and have a very good chance of survival as long as they were developing properly anyway. I am going to the dr tomorrow, and i want him to check to see if im starting to efface. I am going to the East coast from Dallas for about 6 days starting this FRI.. so i really would like some heads up to set my mind at ease.

I am 33 weeks tomorrow and dila ted to 1 with a softened cervix my babygirl weighs 4.5lbs as of tuesday!!! been having steady BH for 5 weeks now but doctors are confident I might get another week of pregnancy if I am lucky!!! ive seen babies as early as 26wks make it without life support but then again I have also seen babies at 37 weeks require life saving interventions, just remembers if the doctors arent worried dont stress yourself medical advancements have come so far!!!

A couple of woman on my FB have...one was 33wks along and then another was 30 but she had triplets

an acquaintance of mine whom i went to high school with was due at the end of december and had her baby at 27 weeks because of blood pressure problems. he's doing great though

Im due the first of December, and 33 weeks, anything under that is really dangerous.... Why would you want to know that???? It's horrible, I'd feel like crap if I had my baby right now. Most december moms are probably around 30 weeks. That's really not good.

Yeah, my other friend just had her baby yesterday at 33 weeks. But they said she was measuring 37 weeks. So she was further along im guessing. Good luck to you mama, keep that baby in!

My baby girl is supposed to be due December 29th. I've already gone into false labor once at 29 weeks because iwas dehydrated and my blood pressure was sky high. it was super scary but the hospital stopped the contractions and now im 31 weeks TODAY. hopefully she'll stay in there til at least december...everyone is saying, even doctors, that she most likely will be here by thanksgiving

The baby COULD HAVE been born sooner. I'm sure that's what she meant by "only".. I'd rather my baby be born 8 weeks early than like 16 weeks early.
