I wish I would have known my options. That maybe an epidural wasn't all that necessary for me.

Dont go to the hospital the minute your water breaks if youre not in labor. Dont accept pitocin to speed things up. Dont listen to the bitch of a dr who said "this is real labor, what makes you think you could do it without drugs?"

With my 1st, I wouldn't allow myself to be induced, I would have had a homebirth, no meds.

With my 2nd, I wouldn't have allowed myself to be induced, I would have had a homebirth, no meds

I wouldn't change a thing about my 3rd

I wish I would of known how bad my back was going to hurt! I wish I had some sort of back massager lol! I constantly had to have some one massaging my back. I had my mom, dad, mother in law, and SO in the room and they had to take turns switching after their hands got tired

i would have forced my mother to take me to the hospital the minute i began convulsing from the contractions instead of waiting till he was almost born in the toilet!

My last birth? To walk out and go home and have her in my tub like I wanted to in the first place.
My first, to stop being afraid. I was unaware of the fear/pain relationship and wasn't able to relax.

ETA: My middle birth, I wouldn't change a thing.

I would not have agreed to my induction period. It was past 40 wks but I would have waited it out

With my first I would have labored at home much longer, refused the epi, and gone natural.

With my second, I wouldn't change a thing.

Same here. I wish I would have waited until my LO was ready. I was induced at 41 weeks 1 day. The next baby I will be letting things go as they should.

To know that you can't be numb to push. I got an epidural at 9 1/2 centimeters. As they were giving me now I had the uncontrollable urge to push but I was afraid to not get the epidural even thought I got that far..i didn't know you had to be off it to be able to push.

Yeah they worked, but I just didn't find it necessary to have it. I was in labor for 14 hours and pushed for 2 hours. They almost did a emergency c-section because LO couldn't get out since he was under my pelvis. They got him out with forceps.
