Almost 40 weeks...

I am almost 40 weeks and at my appointment last week they told me he still hadn't dropped and that I wasn't dilated at ll! Should I be concerned my next appointment is Thursday and I will e exactly 40 weeks!

My daughter never dropped and I was never dilated until actual birth some things just happen last minute during labor

I wouldn't be too worried. Babies come when they want to... you'll probably go past your due date but you should be fine. best of luck!

Must be comfortable.going through same thing. I told DH that she is going to take after him. If your happy...why bother moving! :/

I'm 39 weeks today doctors appointment today. I have been 75% effaced no dilation for 2 weeks now. Hopefully I'll be dilated today if not they said I'll make it passed my due date for sure!

I was never dilated before actually labour with my other 3 pregnancies and it all happened quick longest being 6 hours. However this time i have been dilated for nearly 2 weeks 2cm which is more annoyin to be honest as still nothing having a sweep on friday as due on sunday and been having painful contrctions for weeks now good luck and hope all goes well

Baby might not drop at all if its not your 1st. None of mine have since the 1st one. And dont worry about the dialating. Some dialate over weeks... Some can dialate over hours. Its just a waiting game we are all playing now.
