I felt the same way with my first and now at 39weeks (tomorrow) with my second I still get a little scared, its normal. I was so scared with my first that when I was leaving to go get induced i got sick just before leaving. I'm sure no matter how this little guy decides to arrive, hoping on his own, I will feel the same. You will be fine, and its all worth it once you hold that baby for the first time!

I was scared smurfless. I kept asking myself it I made the right choice, if I was ready for it, and I kept going over everything baby related in my head to try and remember if I had forgotten anything. Then they told me they were going to induce me that day when I went to my last dr appointment and the nurse actually asked me if I was okay. Apparently I turned white after she said that. lol But once I actually got to the hospital I wasnt as scared as it was pretty exciting.
You'll be okay, they're just normal emotions.

Quoting !*Waiting for December*!:" I am due 12/12/12 and I keep thinking I am term around 11/21/12 and here in a about two weeks that's ... [snip!] ... that. I don't know why. I am so excited to meet him but it's just scary, that I'm going to be a mommy. Were you scared?"

I say You are LUCKY!! If my baby doesnt come sooner I will be induced on Dec. 13th   And the trepidation you are experiencing is totally normal, I didnt really feel scared when the process actually started happening, all you can think about is "get this baby outta me" Im 30 wks this wk and Im asked am i scared or nervous and Im really not, the only thing I get nervous about is getting an epidural, It doesnt hurt but it creeps me out, and im wondering if im gonna end up asking for it. Lol It wore off before i started pushing last time so all it was good for was the contractions, which was ALOT. Giving birth wasnt as bad as the contractions in my opinion ;) Good luck girl. I think you will be stronger than you think

she is right.

i been thru this discussion before... if you deliver 37+ you're considered FULL TERM...

"Week 37: Baby is full term
Thirty-seven weeks into your pregnancy, or 35 weeks after conception, your baby will be considered full term. Your baby's organs are ready to function on their own. To prepare for birth, your baby might descend into the head-down position"

anywho... this is my second child and i'm scared too!
i had such an easy labor with my son, i'm nervous that this one won't be so easy. lol... plus it's a girl. my son slept all the time, didn't cry much! i'm worried that because she's a she... maybe she'll be more emotional.
