well i guess there are two options, hold off and see if he gets weirder, more secrecy, things like that...
or just straight up ask him if you feel like you are right. Thats one that you have to be pretty sure about before doing, because if he is innocent and thinks you dont trust him there could be trouble.

but that gut instinct....idk man.
personally i would wait it out a few days and watch closely.
