painful sex/posterior cervix

posted 8th Oct
My hips are all kinds of screwed up. I have scoliosis and my hips also turn forward, sort of jamming my sacrum up into the rest of my spine and yet tilting it towards my stomach.

Sex ALWAYS hurts, always has, regardless of what we try. It's okay for a while, then I'll get a jolt of pain and everything seizes up making it almost impossible to keep going.

Doctors can't seem to figure out anything wrong with me, but pelvic exams are always intense pain, and again, I'll seize up sometimes so bad that they have a hard time doing the pap smear. At my recent appointment, my doctor said my cervix is VERY posterior, and that may be why sex is so painful. I tried to google, but I'm coming up with all posterior cervix and pregnancy.

Anyway have any advice?

erm. . . do you think he meant a tilted uterus? Where it's tilted backwards instead of forwards? Just guessing, lol

Theres actually a condition where the nerves inside your vagina are overly sensitive and causes spasms with the slightest touch...i believe its called vaginismus. Google it and see if it fits what you feel.

She actually said my cervix was posterior, googled it and tons of stuff came up. Basically, my cervix feels like it's at my butt sort of. Freaking pap hurt like hell!

I've looked it up, and it sort of matches up, but not totally. It's like everything is going good, then he'll shift a little and it hits weird and that's it - done! The pain instantly causes me to seize up.
