Have any of you ever had to try to explain where something was to your SO over the phone? OMG....

Oh yeah, SO and my brother spent at least ten minutes looking "absolutely everywhere" for a huge bag of gaming stuff. I walked into the bedroom and it was right on the floor in plain sight. SO does stuff like that all the time, it drives me insane.

It's one of those "Rules of Being a Man"...if you cant immediately see it...it must not be there. My friend used to buy her own healthy food and would buy the little tiny cans of diet pepsi(so she wouldnt over do it) and her dad would always eat her cheat food and drink her soda...so I told her that she needed to put all her stuff on the bottom shelf in the back. She was soo amazed when it worked! A man would never be desperate enough to crouch down and dig in the fridge for food...if he cant see it standing straight up and opening the fridge, he wont touch it.

DH does that ALL the time with his clothes.
How hard is it to open a drawer yourself?!?!
Why do I have to search??
And then he gets mad that I'm pissy because he couldn't look for whatever himself.

Haha Unfortunately that was a true conversation. Hes always fixing things and forgets where he puts his stuff and accuses me or the kids of messing with it. Sometimes I worry hes already getting senile...

I honestly think it's just a man thing, my dad and DH are the same exact way.

And I seriously love that you actually said the binocular thing to him.

we moved in June, last night SO asked where his tax papers are from last year...
Him: where are my tax papers?
me: in storage with all our other papers!
Him: No they have to be here somewhere I know it! (we are staying with my grandparents)
Me:I packed I should know where they are, and they are in storage.
Him: No your wrong they are here.
he then proceeds to tear everything apart looking for papers that ARE IN STORAGE...yells, throws paper around the room , and then finally asks if i can help him cleean up and go to storage with him to find them...

really?! NO, I am not cleaning up after you having a stupid fit, and going with you, they are on a box labled tax returns....GO FIND IT YOURSELF!!

he is sucha dumbass sometimes, it drives me insane! But i love the hell outta the man, so I laugh at his dumbness!
