Yes I know how you feel.. my parents actually live in the Beaver/shady spring area. It is nice to find someone local going through the journey of pregnancy.

but about the checking, im 38w 3d and ive only been checked once because i havent had any contractions so your doc might be waiting for contractions.... never hurts to ask

Awesome!! When I go to moms we order pizza hut just about everytime lol... Ive been through Hinton a few times but its not a regular thing. And I am 24 weeks with a babygirl   congratulations on your little bundle!!!

I'm always over at Wendy's and Hardee's since I got pregnant   I head over to Beckley every other week usually.

Aw you're almost done! He's asked me if I've felt contractions but where I've never had them before I don't know exactly what to expect besides cramping. I've been getting a lot of pressure the past week or so and I'll feel these real sharp pinch like sensations I guess where my urethra is. It feels like she's right there trying to headbutt her way out. I've been monitoring everything my body does since I hit about 34w. As far as I know my mucus plug hasn't came out either, but I've heard/read that sometimes you don't even lose that until labor.

Ok contractions are just like period cramps just they get worse over a period of time so if you have cramping like feelings under your belly then that's probably a contraction... So that's probably y he hasn't checked you... I'm kinda in the same situation lol I'm waiting for some contraptions to get things rolling lol!! And yeah I'm almost done but still gonna miss all the kick and what not  

I was measuring 34 weeks and was 37 so my doctor did an ultrasound to check the fluid around the baby and to take measurements of the baby to check his weight everything was normal, plus I didn't get check for the first time till i was 38 weeks and 3 days and my cervix was completely closed. I am now 39 weeks and 3 days and had an appointment today where I was checked and I'm only dilated 2 cm. Like most of the other women have said getting check isn't the best feeling in the world kinda feels like they are digging for gold or something in there so don't rush it! Good luck!!

Yea this is my first baby so kinda clueless about most things just learning as I go, I've tried to read up on most things and I've definitely been paying more attention to my body. We are naming her Alexis Nicole Leigh (Lee) we couldn't compromise with the middle name I wanted Nicole and he wanted her to be named after him so we decided to give her two middle names lol.. I've been craving McDonald's sausage biscuits and gravy like no other, but it takes me 30 minutes just to get to Harper road and I don't really wake up In time for breakfast   what about you do you have a name picked out  ? I was telling SO tonight it was nice to find someone to talk to so close he was like oh great two pregnant chicks talking hormones will definitely be flying lol.. he was just joking though. And I don't really know what to expect with the contractions except for pain (that's a given).. my lil one loves my pelvis she is always soooo low it hurts!

We're naming our little girl Lyanna Rhaellen. I'm a nerd so we got her first name from a book series and Rhaellen is a mix between my nickname, my SO's middle name (Rae/Ray) and his great grandmothers name Ellen, so we came up with that. Everyone has a problem saying it so I'm always pronouncing it. It's basically Lay-awn-uh Ray-Ellen. We put the "h" in just to change it up a little lol. It was goin to be Rhaelle until we remembered his great grandma.

I just started feeling cramps today but only a couple every 6 or so hours, so it's probably just Braxton Hicks. I'm getting a lot of pressure though.

Awl I really like that name its soo cute and unique! That's why we did her Leigh to be a little different.. I'm a nerd to I love to read I'm actually in the middle of a book right now LOL.. sounds like you wont have to much longer   I'm so excited for you! If you have a Facebook you can add me if you like name is Brittney Bumgarner (I know weird last name) lol.. I would love to see a pic of babygirl when she is born I bet she is going to be adorable! My nurse told me the reason why you have lots of pressure is because every contraction pushed baby down obviously to the birthing canal..
