Yup!

I understand, my last pregnancy was by far my worst so I know your in pain but you doctor isn't an idiot. Next time express your concerns and keep asking until he give you an answer, most people only get 1-2 ultrasounds unless there is a medical issue.

You seem to be trying to justify your feelings. The last thing is questionable, but I also doubt that's exactly what happened or you'd have mentioned it to start with.

If you aren't happy, see if you can switch. If not, write a list of questions and don't leave until he answers them. If he jokes, repeat the question until you get an answer that satisfies you. People get upset, but usually it's because they are not asking questions or being proactive. They are just waiting for the Dr to tell them what they want to hear.

I am sorry, but you're a mother, and if he was really that dumb and you've been seeing him for 37 weeks then there is something to be said about your expectations of care too.

If that was TRULY how that happened, I would have been switching doctors.

Doctors can feel if the baby is breech, but if its hurting that badly, it could also be because you're low on fluid. I've heard that it hurts when your baby moves in there when a woman is low on amniotic fluid. I was low and I didnt have a clue.

LOL I hope you know most people dont usually get an ultrasound this late. The normal is to get TWO ultrasounds the whole pregnancy. One around 12-14 weeks then the other around 21-23 weeks for the gender. The doctor should be able to tell if he/she is breech just by feeling your belly. Your over reacting wayyyyy to much. Your doctor isn't the idiot here.... The only way you'd get an ultrasound is if they couldn't tell. They usually dont tell you if your baby has turned or not if you dont ask. Plus, you can always waste your money for a ultrasound if you really wanted one. Hence the word 'watse'

Even then, you shouldn't of left his office until he answered your questions/concerns that is your fault. You should of also spoke up and told him you don't appreciate the way he jokes about everything. It's not that hard to do.

What advice are you wanting? You're being told that everything he's doing sounds right, and that the pain you're experiencing is normal. What other advice do you want?
