And I love to boost it even higher. My best girl friends have told me for years that I pick these kind of guys and then make them even more full of themselves...but its just me. I find it so sexy when a man has great self esteem.

I would say there's a big difference between a man who is truly confident and a man who likes to stroke his own ego.
My SO is confident in himself, it doesn't mean he thinks he is superior, or that his smurf doesn't stink. It just means he's confident in himself.
I dated and dumped a guy who had a huge ego. All he ever wanted to do was talk about himself. He used to randomly say things while we were out eating like "If I wanted to I could just leave you here" just because he liked to feel like he was more powerful than me.
I got over the whole boastful guy thing really fast after him.

I don't like ego really. I like a man who is comfortable. As in, "I am who I am and if you don't like it smurf off," rather then "I'm hot and I know!" I find cockiness horribly unattractive. I hate the whole "I'm so great," attitude. Like I said, I like men who are okay with who they are, but I do not like men who think they're gods gift to women.
