nervous 36 weeks and sore belly

posted 8th Oct
Hi I'm 36 weeks and 3 days along and my abdomen is sore and i have little fetal movement... I personally can't recall what period cramps feel like because they were very short and heavy and few and far. but I'm getting a little freaked... I cant bend over without pains in my lower abdomen. has any one else felt this and have any idea on what it is or how to stop the constant soreness... not the pain when I bend over I obvious know how to stop that!

Thanks for the help in advance!!

I'm almost 31 wk and have been constantly sore for sometime I have heard people compare contractions to cramps but with my first, it felt nothing like that to me. Contractions are felt through your whole uterus which is huge now. It's not like a cramp in your pelvis. Pains and soreness are just the joys of pregnancy that no one really talks about. if it is a support issue, try a belly supporter or pregnancy pants.

I have called the birthing ctr and they said its normal and if i want i can go in. I've been there once already and all they do is make you sit hooked up to the monitors to see if you have contractions but i dont feel like its contractions just a general sore feeling...I will however call my doctor and see what he says! i didnt think of that because they tell you after 32 weeks they want you to call the ctr not them

Thank you!!!

Try a warm bath to help with the discomfort. As for fetal movement drink some OJ and then lay down on your left side and do a kick count for an hour. If you don't feel your baby then call your OB.

You should call your doctor or go to labor & delivery. It may just be your body preparing for labor. Good luck

im 30wks with the same issue, my LO isnt moving near as much and has dropped and they said its your body readying for labor, so i would go in and have them make sure all is well...try eating something cold and laying on your left side..or babys fav food
