DD will be 30 months when our baby is born and already weighs 35 lbs. I am not risking it. Lol

I wanted a swing and bouncy... *first time mom problems*   but I only got a bouncy, and that hasn't even been taken out of the box yet...

Yea all of her stuff is at our house in va so I don't have access to use it even, but now I'm sitting here thinking... Smurf, do I really need it if it hasn't been used by now?!

That's really all they need! All those other apparatus' are just things to make our lives easier and sometimes that doesn't even work out

they do make swings that are also a bouncer? that may work, I never had one. I did have both w/my son but he wasn't really into the swing, he liked the bouncer a lot. But I plan on having both with this one..I just got a bouncer at a consignment shop for like 12 bucks so I can't complain! lol

Yes, they make combo ones but they are like $140. I don't want to pay that much

i never had a swing... it seemed like too much motion -- like it would disorient him further than he was already.

we had one of those little vibrating chairs that also very slowly rocked max, more like the motion you'd have were you to hold him and sway a bit.

Brooke loved her swing and months later LOVED her bouncy chair, but babies are different. I'd get the chair, because it's cheaper and eventually he will like it even if he's almost a toddler by then. But when he's born if he's hating life, then you can go get a swing.
