tell them to get their own phone. Walmart has cheap $30 a month and they can use it just for emergencies etc. This way they aren't running up your bill. Like the others said just say your bill was too high due to them using it and you can't afford to pay the bill. Maybe they will leave you alone

Id say "sorry it got disconnected" and if by chance they ever saw u on a phone and called u out on it Id say you were borrowing it (lol) and cant give it to someone else. Like someone else said, you dont know why they are using it, what if they are doing something really bad and then you name gets brought up because you gave them the phone?

OP don't give them any excuses or reasons.

Just say "No, I'm sorry." And leave it at that. You aren't being a bitch. If you tell them some lie then they will peg you as a liar or something.

I used to have a neighbor like that, I eventually quit answering my door..lol

This. I would just be honest. Tell them you didn't mind the first time, but that it's now repetitive behavior. You're an adult. Be up front about it.

I'd flat out tell them no. It's your phone, so you don't have to let them use it. You don't have to give them a reason why either. If they don't like it, oh well.

There is no need to lie and say its disconnected, waiting on a phone call or that you're out of minutes etc. Tell them " No, sorry" and close the door.

NO.

There ya go. Easy as that. They can get their own phone or they don't get to make calls at all. If they can't afford it, tough smurf. There's only so nice you can be.

If you just don't answer the door, they'll just keep coming back and eventually you'll have to either tell them something or let them use the phone again. So, I'd just tell them like it is the next time they come knocking.

I probably would end up being a bitch and tell them to get their own damn phone.
