BD is mad our son is startint to daycare!?!

My BD is upset that our son is going to head start. Which is like early rpe-school. IDk why!!?? This was a better option for both our son and me. BD wants me to keep driving 2 hours a day (morning and night routes) back and forth to his moms house so she can get paid to watch him for $600/month. Head start is $400/month . He used to be with our son in the mornings while I'm at work . Now he thinks I'm trying to keep his son away from her. I told BD he could pick our son up from school any day. And I never have kept.my.son away from his dad ever.

He needs to get over it. Head Start will be good for him.

sounds to me he just wants to start drama. Tell him this is best for the son and like you stated he can go and pick him up anytime but don't be bringing him to his moms house for her to watch because then she will be waiting to be paid.

Tell him to get the hell over it. Your son needs to be around/socialize with other kids.

No way would I go 2 hrs out of my way. Sounds like someone might be bitter they aren't getting 600 a month.

If he has a problem with it, tell him to pick him up and drop him off at his mom's house and to pay her out of his own pocket.
