Hello ladies. We've had our baby girl name chosen since my last pregnancy, he turned out a boy so we saved it for this one  

Its pronounced Dah-nih-lin (i think thats the correct way to spell out its pronunciation???) the "nih" part is like how you would pronounce the beginning of NIcholas its not pronounced like Danny, i hope that makes sense.

How would you spell it?

I don't think it matters. It was probably always be pronounced "Danny Lynn".

Donilyn or Danilyn?

Keeping the first "a" in "Dana" makes me want to have a hard "a" sound...as in lake.

I chose the 3rd one. But however you spell it people will most likely pronounce it danny-lynn

mine starts with Dan but doesnt have the "knee" sound just the "nih" sound like in Nicolas

Ah okay. Well personally not a huge fan of the name but I chose the spelling Danilyn.

I love the middle name Love. That is what we will be using as a middle name if we ever have a little girl. It's my Granny's name! She was born in 1939 and was only 3lbs. They didn't think she was going to live so they called her Love. =)

  thats what we are worried about too. I love the spelling Danilyn but Danalyn is more how I want to pronounce it. but to me that looks too much like its pronounced Dayna lyn

Aw thats a sweet story   we adore it as well. its not as common as so many other names and thats what we're going for. not so common, kinda unique, but not wierd or trendeigh

I guess Danalynn due to pronunciation... I'm not a fan of it though.
