re: Age gap relationships? D&D

Im used to the older type. My DS father is 11 years older than me and we were together 4 years since i was 18. My SO and DD father are 2 & 3 years older than me and the youngest ive dated

When I was really young I liked older men for the money, hahhaha. A 37 year old who is greying will spend everything on a hot 17 year old. Now that I am older I find that sickening though... but it worked for me at the time.

It seems the older you are, the less age matters. 15 and 30 is rediculous. and illegal. I'm 24, SO is 33. and I feel fine about it. we are mentally on the same level. My sister is 22, her SO is 37....I find it a little odd. Especially since she is closer in age to his son than to him. That is another factor in age gaps...kids. I don't think I could ever be "step mom" to someone closer to my age than the father.

I could maybe do 10 years older but I doubt it. My husband is nearly a year younger than me but I couldn't be with anyone much younger than that since most guys are way behind in maturity level. IMO when there is a big age gap, at least one person is after something, gold digger or someone going through a midlife crisis lol.

I'd date someone much older than me, never anyone younger than me.

I prefer older men because of a few reasons.

Most of them are more conservative politically (won't mind watching Fox News with me and discussing politics)

More experianced sexually

Don't care too much about what other people think

Usually are financially stable

Don't mind sitting at home and having a nice dinner and are over the bar scene and going out and getting wasted

And, I'm physically attracted to men with grey hair

I see nothing wrong with age gaps. I honestly don't care about other peoples relationships other than my own. There is a 6 year age gap btwn DH and myself. I was about 15 when I met him. We didn't turn serious until I was 17 and dated on and off until we moved in together in 2006, I was 18.
Now I couldn't say if I would or would not date anyone older than that or younger than me, and I wouldn't say anything about people that are in a relationship where there is a big age gap.
I think it's fun to look back on how old we were when we met, and where we were in our lives at the time  

I don't see a problem as long as both people are over 18. Of course there are those older men who will take advantage of young girls but that can really happen at any age.
I went on a couple dates with a 32 year old when I was 18. I think I was more mature than him honestly so it didn't work. Besides that time I usually dated people my age but my husband is 8.5 years older than me and we have never had any issues with the age gap at all. Its not really a huge difference though.

Im 21 DH is 29. I have never dated younger. Ive always dated older guys..but b4 DH I only dated 1 to 2 yrs older because I was a minor I didnt want to date too much older and risk it

My boyfriend and I are 11 years apart.
Its okay...we just tend to want different things in life.
but for the most part a get along pretty well.
He just thinks he's always right and he always has some words of wisdom our he's trying to teach me a lesson.

My DH is 20 years older than me. We've been together almost 8 years. It's the best and longest relationship I've ever had.
