You are a 16 year old CHILD,not an adult. I am 26 and have a hard enough time making it on my own. Go home and finish school

what about school? Does he make enough to pay all the bills, plus extras that the baby needs? Are you going to get a job? If so, who will watch the baby?

I have no idea what legal age of consent is in Texas - I would say 16 or 17. Personally, I don't think it should matter.

Hell, my ex did the same thing, and someone even called the authorities on them. They pretty much said, "you can date, you just cant live in the same house" i was like..."do you seriously think that thats going to stop them from having sex?" lol

No. I left the state and i dont think its safe to enroll in another school because then they might find me. I havent decided what I want to do yet. Im just really scared to give my name to anyone so I havent applied for a job either

Here's Texas' law just in case people were curious. I know it's been asked/wondered a few times.

Sexual assault for anyone to intentionally or knowingly penetrate a person under age 17, other than his spouse. The actor has an affirmative defense if he is not more than three years older than the victim, who is at least age 14

I know this is going to start a debate and crap, but whats the difference between a 21 year old dating a 40 year old compared to a 16 year old dating a 22 year old(Other than the fact that their legal age)? Whats the moral difference? I know many people that are a couple years apart, but i also know many that are older by many years.

My first husband was a LOT older than me so I can't say much, but that's a horrible story in itself. It just always makes me wonder why a guy that age likes a girl that age. I'm not saying it's always bad, just a bit off sometimes. If that makes sense.
