HCG barely dropping?

I was called today and the nurse said my levels barely dropped at all. I go in for an ultrasound tomorrow.

I had three rounds of 800mg cytotec for a MMC that wasn't progressing on its own. I didn't think there'd be much left in there after three doses has anyone else's levels just dropped really, really slow?

I took three doses of misoprostol, I barely bled...... and my levels took weeks to drop. Then I didn't stop bleeding for like 6 weeks, never got a period (That I knew of) and found out I was 5 wks pregnant right after lol... I was like wtf?

my levels dropped slowly, too. I quit getting them checked after a month.

I'm relieved to know other women experienced this, too. I'm so terrified of the thought of a DNC. I've been through 10 weeks of this already. Three since I took the cytotec, I'm ready to move on.

I had a miscarriage that took weeks before the numbers went down. I never took anything they just drew my blood every 2 days for 3 weeks. It was awful. It then took me 8 months to ovulate.

Oh my gosh, 8 months? That's really hard

Sorry for both of your losses. It took me almost a month to go from 8 to a 0. It took about close to 3 weeks for me to even start my period after my levels got below a .5

I was early, around 5 weeks.i had low progesterone and my hcg levels woukd go up, doubled at first, then they dropped, went up, then slowly went down. We started ttc right after and it took us close to 3 years to get my son. It was a long wait. Im sorry for your loss. Hopefully things go smoothly for you.

Also my last miscarriage was also early. I got pregnant with my son the very next month. Sometimes it takes awhile others it seems your body just goes back to normal easier.
