No because he kinda fell of the face of the earth. Im not with my son's father any more, my SO is my daughters dad and he is 28 almost 29.

i would take that as being too clingy and always available. any time he wants to see me im there like i have no life and am just waiting for his call or something. and that hes maybe getting annoyed with me lol

I'd just relax and be yourself. I've always been told I never give enough because I was never concerned with hanging out all the time.

I never played games with my fiance when we were dating - everything was always point blank, I miss, I want to see you.. as I believe it should be, we're not in high school anymore.. and I don't see who has time for that stuff anymore.

No offense.. but a guy who talks that way with you doesn't seem to respect you. He could have said 'This is going a bit too fast for me, let's just take it a bit slower, okay?' in lieu of 'don't try so hard'.. nah, not cool.
