re: ectopic? ovary cramps? HELP update....

With maddie I had a sharp pain on my right side and it stopped turned out I had an ovarian cyst. The ectopic that I had I didnt even knotice I was pregnant because I was still bleeding but it also hurt to make a bowel movement and I had pain in my neck and my shoulder hurt....in which could of been from the loss of blood from when my tube ruptured.....but this was constant cramping pain on my left side that would never go away....just annoying period cramps...then it got worse once it ruptured....like 10x worse than the natural birth that I had with maddie it was all in my back and side nothing eased the pain

that really makes me think this is NOT ectopic. I have nothing similar to that at all.

Not necessarily. I have had 2 Ectopics the first one i had slight cramping the second I had slight and then severe a few weeks later.

Neck/shoulder pain is rare. If a woman does experience it's because of the blood that builds under the diaphragm from the rupturing tube it irritates the nerves of the diaphragm. Even with my rupture I didn't have this

I did. I had a cyst on the ovary I ovulated from on the 8 weeks us. it will go away.

No not necassarly.. My cousins didn't rubture and she had arm and shoulder pain.. I guess everyone is different though. Hope all work out for you.

Wanted to update this... had an ultrasound in the ER... baby is NOT in a tube. Its right where its supposed to be. Saw a sac and a yolk sac in it. I'm positive I saw a fetal pole but the tech couldn't tell me much (rules and such) and she said she couldn't do a crown rump length. It was just too tiny. Positive it was there though. No heartbeat seen yet though I definitely have a feeling heart is beating now   Feeling better about the whole thing. Just can't wait for my first appointment and I'll have to have them do an ultrasound too because my due date, well, I know when I O-ed I know when I implanted because I charted and it detected those things. But, my LMP (which I'm not going by but one clinic wanted me to go by) said June 6th... by my dates, I'm due June 12th. By the ER ultrasound (which did not include a crown rump length as I said earlier) I'm due June 13th. So obviously, a dating U/S would be helpful. Hopefully my midwife will agree.

Glad everything ok with you and baby   Congrats on new one the way. I had my first in June 19th and my second July 26th summer was too hot for me with living in florida. Glad my 3rd is in February so it wont be to bad. Goodluck

Thank you   It really bothers me we couldn't get a crown rump length and see a heartbeat but I knew we wouldn't when I went in. Just would have been nice. Hopefully I get another U/S before my 11 week one (that can't be moved up unfortunately). I think if I don't, I'll be freaking out wondering if there will even be anything living on that one.
