Wifey Fail

I overslept and was 2 hours late to pick up DH from work! Back story, DH recently started a new 3rd shift job. He works 12hr shifts from 6pm to 6am. Since he doesn't have a license I drive everywhere. We have a nice car but we put tons of miles on it. DH works 25+ minutes away. He works 3 days on 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off and so on and so forth.
So I have to wake up at 5am to get ready and pick him up. Thankfully my neighbor comes over and stays with my sleeping kids so I don't have to haul them out of bed so early. Anyways, last night I set my alarm and read a few pages in my book and fell asleep. I woke up at 7:45 this morning! The baby was asleep and neighbor kids were getting on the bus. Smurf! I've never jumped out of bed so quick. I found my phone and had 10 missed calls. I packed the kids up and drove 25 minutes to get him. He was pissed. He didn't yell or anything, but that car ride home was pretty much silent; not even a peep from the baby!
I hope he isn't still in a bad mood when he wakes up. I have to think of something super nice to apologize...any ideas?

A blow job and make him something to eat. That would make my DH forgive me lol.

Sleeping in isn't a crime and a sorry should be enough. When I worked 3rds, my husband slept in, a lot. He was always late picking me up, but I didn't mind.
One time he slept in until 10am, my shift ended at 7. He apologized, I said it was cool, went home, got some sleep and that was that, not a big deal.
