I had my baby girl October 2nd. She was born at 10:27am by c-section. I didn't get to have the VBAC I had hoped for, but this time my c-section was such a better experience than my last one. My husband stayed with her the whole time and he went with her to recovery and stayed there until I was done getting stitched back up. When I arrived in recovery she was sitting there sucking away at the air wide eyed and not even crying just staring around. We got to do skin to skin right away and she immediately wanted to start nursing and latched right on. It was amazing!!!! My boys and parents and sister were able to visit me in recovery and hold her before she went to the nursery. She is just so perfect and easy going and adorable and her brothers adore her. Her name is Alessia Andrea and she was born at 10:27 am she weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long. Here are some pictures:
