Clear mucus, not pregnant. Maybe TMI

So I know mucus and discharge is all part of being pregnant. But how normal is it when you're not pregnant? I've only ever had the normal discharge. But today when I wiped, I had thick gooey clear mucus stuff. I've just stopped taking my pill (almost a week ago now) could it just be my hormones and body going back to normal?
I heard it's a good time to try for a boy when your discharge is clear and not cloudy.... true or not, I'm willing to give it a go. Do you think this mucus stuff means now is a good time to have some deep penetration sex? lol

On a side note, I'd be happy with either boy or girl.... but we want to try all those silly wives tales and positions, and random diets to try for a boy.

Sounds like you are ovulating.

I thought you had a clear mucusy discharge every month. I thought you were most fertile when you had a clear, mucus like discharge.

Woooo. So tonight would be good time to try. Just read something that said when the discharge resembles egg white, that it is a good time to try for a boy. So fingers crossed

Yup sounds like ovulation! And really?! I tried when I had egg white discharge.. and it IS a boy!<3 haha, good luck momma!
