Sleeping???

posted 8th Oct
i cant get comfortable for the life of me! im almost 25 weeks and its just killing me. i can be as tired as i could pass out standing up and will go to lay down to go to bed and ill just toss and turn because i cant get comfortable :/

is there any way that actually helps you sleep??

(i have one of those preggle body pillows and it helps but only after ive tossed and turn to the point where i just cant move anymore that i just pass out from exhaustion. but that's even after hours of tossing and turning.)

The only way I could sleep when I was pregnant was if I was sleeping on top of pillows.
I was almost sitting up completely but it worked out lol.
Or if I was squished between pillows.

I slept on the couch lol. Gave my back support and I didn't have to try so hard when I needed to roll off of it to use the bathroom.

I loved sleeping on the couch when I was pregnant. It was the only way I could really sleep!

Try sleeping on your side with a pillow in between your legs,
someone told me that it's really comfortable, especially when your pregnant. I've never been in the situation. Shocking as it is i'm 31 weeks and sleep like a baby, guess I just got lucky lol

Are you uncomfortable in pain? If so sometimes sleeping in a recliner can take the pressure off your hips or make it easier to breath. Sometimes I would put pillows up in my bed so I was sleeping basically sitting up for a while.

If you are not comfortable but just because you can't see to relax then try exercising earlier in the day to help tire yourself out. Eliminate caffeine if you drink/eat any, don't drink right before bedtime. Practice relaxing each muscle in your body starting with your toes and working up, letting yourself sort of sink any into sleep. Try reading or some other very calm type activity right before bedtime. Watching a horror movie...bad choice...watching something so slow its nearly boring...good choice.
