Swollen feet?

posted 8th Oct
Hi ladies! If this is your first time seeing one of my posts, I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant & am wondering about swollen feet!
Most of the time I'll work all week. I've been working 4-6 hour shifts, I work at Starbucks so I am constantly on my feet. After I come home my lower back is sore and my feet are swollen! I'm always drinking water (b/c I live in Arizona!) so I know I'm not dehydrated. Does it just come with the territory of being pregnant or should I ask my OBGYN about it tomorrow?

Its a pregnancy thing love, it'll last till LO comes. Swollen feet are worse in warmer weather too, so that could be why. I'm 29 weeks and havent had this problem at all, but its been really cold here.

Welcome to pregnancy!!!!   If you have a job standing up it's gonna get super bad. You might even have to go up a shoe size or move into wide shoes. Also farther along your hands will swell up   But this is just a normal part of pregnancy. Btw, I'd go crazy if I worked at starbucks!!! The coffee is just so good.

I have such small hands! I'm not looking forward to my hands swelling! But working at Starbucks isn't that bad! ....except maybe when you're pregnant! : P

10 weeks is pretty early to be experiencing swelling. Your dr will be able to look you over and make sure everything seems ok. If you are swelling now you might want to go ahead and purchase some support socks...the kind they make for diabetics. It will encourage better blood flow...and when you are in your 3rd trimester you will definately see what swelling is all about..especially if you are already having problems

I did ask my doctor the other day and she said everything seemed to be fine with me health wise. Thank you!
