Beyonce diet?

My friend has supposedly lost 13 lbs in two weeks. I just read about this diet and it is NOT sounding safe at all. She is also nursing. Has anyone else tried this?

Ah, okay. Yeah that's not healthy at all. She will end up losing her supply, definitely. Even Beyonce said it wasn't healthy, she just did it for a movie then quickly put her weight back on.

Your friend can't master cleanse forever. As soon as she stops, all of that weight is going to come right on back.

Wow how can hthat be safe at all? The page says that the "diet" has all the nutrition needed during this time (for 10 to 40 days and no food!?) Yeah right!

OP, on that link someone posted a question asking if its safe while breastfeeding. There's a response from an admin, show that to your friend. She brings up a very valid point. Because the diet is a detox a lot of the toxins being flushed from the body will go into the breastmilk which can be really bad for the baby and she will definitely lose her supply. Without any food/calories the body cannot possibly produce breastmilk. It is essentially starving and your body will cut everything it can to keep those little calories in. Very bad idea on your friends part

Well there's not much for you to do hun. She'll be pretty upset when she realizes that not only she her supply but the weight she lost comes back. It will come back.
