I have been getting very sharp pains in my lower stomach, almost bad enough to make me cry. I know my baby girl is very low but I have been feeling her up higher today. And earlier today I was at my cousins baby shower and i saw little floaties or kinda like sparkles in my vision and I felt very light headed. Also when I lay down my pinky on my left hand goes numb. Is this normal or what should I do?

When i saw sparkles in front of my face i had pre eclampsia....the pinky numbness is normal or at least normal for me---this preg I have random body parts go numb all the time. If you dont have a way to check your BP at home id all your OB office and speak to an on call nurse and ask what they think

Have you been drinking a lot of water? You could be dehydrated..

When are you due? I'd call L&D (or your OB and either talk to a triage nurse or leave a message for our OB to call you back) and see if they want you to come in and get checked out

Im due 2/21/13. I drink tons of water. But i have also had horrible morning sickness that still hasnt gone away. I told my mom and she was very concerned but i pushed going to the er awsy. But now im freaking out and hoping its nothing. I will have to call my dr tomorrow and tell them i dont have another appt until the 25th

Most likely, you are just dehydrated. You are still quite early for them to worry too much about pre-eclampsia. Put your feet up, drink lots of water and get some rest.

That sounds very strange! I would go to the ER just to make sure everything is alright! It can't hurt to be too careful.

Well I calledmy doc today and they told me to go to the er, well I did and found out my blood sugar is very low!
