Quoting *goldengirl*:" I really like the name Aria Renee. IMO a lot of people on here bash others baby names on here instead of just saying they don't like it. I don't think any of the names you have chosen are childish."

Thats because a lot of the people who post about names don't stop and remember that they are naming a person, not a puppy or even a baby. Your child will spend the majority of their life as an adult, they are only a baby for one year. Yes - things like McKinley sound childish - they will not age well, they do not translate well onto a professional adult, it reflects a poor educational background on the parent's part and makes the person sound like a 5 year old for the rest of their life. Choosing your child's name is not the time to be selfish and unfortunately, a lot of people are.

Sounds like your a very judgemental person. You can't tell whether the mother is uneducated by the name she chooses for her child.

I may be a tad judgmental, but you seem to be very ignorant to believe that the name someone chooses doesn't reflect their level of education. (Or lack there of). It's been proven multiple times by several studies that show trendy, made-up, misspelled names tend to be used by less educated people. People like to pretend that America is a classless society, but they are deluding themselves.

I agree somewhat. But the names in this situation don't reflect that in my opinion.

No one with half a brain would consider MaKinley or Kadence are acceptable names for an adult. Especially if that adult wants to go on to be a Judge or Doctor.

To each his own. It's people like you that would prevent someone from getting a professional position because of a name.

Actually, I majored in HR in college and I do not condone name discrimination, no matter what the name is, but I do not sit back and pretend that it doesn't happen.

I vote for Kadence Joy.

Cause my daughter's name is the same but spelled Cadince.

Aria Hope is the only decent name. I like Mackenzie for a girl  but I hate the spelling McKenzie, that looks masculine to me.
