Quoting melissa_83:" If he was my child and everything was shown to be fine with him I wouldnt rush him to the ER. Unless ... [snip!] ... him to the ER. Unless he runs a fever or has an issues with congestion or breathing treat him as you would your other child."
Quoting SmashleynSmallyPants:" how would i do that? he's only a month old so only gets breastmilk"
Quoting P3RvYmCp3rv:" Up your Vit C. Orange juice more vita C. Also since he is only a month I would take him in if he got a cold anyways because in older kids and adults RSV turns up as a cold not as RSV. "
Quoting SmashleynSmallyPants:" As far as I can tell he's very healthy and has no breathing issues. I haven't had him very long though lol. He's very new "Just monitor him at home---going to the ER can expose him to things far worse than a cold. You could call and ask for a MDs opinion but I highly doubt any doc or ped would tell you to take your child to the ER for a cold he might or might not catch. Also if you are breastfeeding its even better your breastmilk boosts his immune system.
