Baby is really fussy and has a hard time pooping. I do natural remedies but nothing is helping that I've tried any ideas?

What's the urine output like? My son got like that when he was dehydrated because there wasn't enough going in to make it come out.... The whole thing freaks me out so I won't go into it too much but it's the last time I listen to doctors and midwives instead of trusting my instincts

Since he's so young there isn't much medicine you can give him. Try bicycling his legs and massaging his tummy. Was his poop hard? He may just have gas. Try out gas drops next time and see if that helps.

I've been giving him gas drops then today he got backed up and passed a hard stool. I gave him caro syrup and warm water and he pooped but has remained extremely fussy.

my daughter has issues pooping...my doctor told me its not an issue unless her poop is hard...it was. she told me to do the karo syrup and it worked. i had to do it more then once to get her regular though. i give her gas drops as well. maybe you can try 1/2oz prune juice mixed with 1/2 oz water. my DD is 10weeks and my doctor suggested that. i wouldnt do it often though

Even with him this young??? Everyone has told me I was stupid for giving my son Karo syrup at his age and its like I'd rather do something natural opposed to him getting so backed up I have to give him a suppository
