That made me laugh. We will co bathe if LO is really fussy. The water calms her down. She likes to lay on my belly and kick. She's 3 months old.

Almost 18 month old DS showers with me or SO. Mainly because were remodeling our second bathroom which is the only one with a tub then after it just kinda stuck. I don't know when we will stop... I don't see a problem with it.

With both of my kids I use(d) baby tubs. I've never co-bathed with my kids. I don't take baths, I take showers and I can just see me dropping my 7 month old infant because she got all slippery.   Plus she loooooves to sit back in her princess bath and splash the water out with her feet. My son is 6 and terrified of showers.. And water in his face.   Probably a sensory thing. So he takes baths and I still have to rinse his hair and he has a washcloth close by in case any water happens upon his face. Lol.

lol yes it was a tight squeeze and it was also the first time I used the bath seat with my 4 month old and she kept slipping but her tub wouldn't have fit lol. But no normally we all take seperate baths ever since we moved into our new house a few months ago.

DD is 3 and we still sometimes co-bathe. Mostly if I need a shower and she is awake. She will hop in with anyone and I do mean anyone. DH's best friend stayed with us one weekend and got in the shower. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't lock properly. DD stripped down and climbed in with him while DH and I were changing. I will never forget the shrieking of a grown man. It was hilarious but we had to explain to her that she can only shower with mommy and daddy. He never showered at our house again.

I say co-bathe but it's really a shower we always take together. I don't like taking baths only my kids take baths by themselves.

I'm curious how people co-bathe and co-shower with a baby (under a year) and are able to wash themselves in the process...I co-bathed once, and after LO (who was 3 months at the time) was clean I had to call SO in to take him so I could get myself clean.

Vaida and I still coshower. It only bothers me when she asks about my parts...for a while I just didn't respond, lately I've been saying its what mommys have.I guess its probably different and more complicated with a boy, though.

I co showered with my son until he was about 8months old, then he got too heavy and I'm too big and pregnant to handle him. He's 11months now and now coshowers with dh. When we move next month into a house with a bigger bathtub then I'll start cobathing with him and probably my newborn daughter together. I really don't know what age we'll stop....

Lol, this. I don't think I can even fit the 2 kids together in the tub, let alone with my bulging ass lol.
