Baby Shower

For our second child, I would like to have a gender reveal party... (which will be very hard for me, because I hate keeping exciting news in!)

My baby shower for my first was, lets just say, not what I expected. I really do appreciate what my future mother in law cooked up, but it isn't anything of what she said.

This time, of course, we are planning it ourselves. Does anyone have ideas in an aspect for this party?

It isn't a baby shower then. It would just be a regular get to together.

Are you wanting to do a shower and a gender reveal party together? Pinterest has AWESOME ideas. We just had our sprinkle today, planned and hosted by us. It was great being in control of everything ourselves, and I liked that I didn't have to put so much (money-wise) on someone else to throw it for us.

It's still technically a baby shower. It's not just people coming over and waiting to see the sex & then bye, see you later.

Mine wasn't a baby shower! Haha I had a gender reveal BBQ! We had a potluck BBQ and we told everyone. Gifts were not expected. (We supplied hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks!) I didn't want to be a baby shower. But its yours and you can have it however you want!
