Water, milk or eggwash

What do you find helps breading/flour stick better?

I found a recipe for some oven fried drumsticks that I want to try tonight. I've tried all of the above but not for a bread crumb & flour mixture to coat the drumsticks with. What do you suggest?

Egg yolks. Not the whites

I use milk/egg mix.

eggwash.

Egg wash ... Nothing else does it as well ...

I do flour then egg then rice krispies and that way has worked best for me. I heard it on a show on food network the flour makes the egg stick and the egg makes the rice krispies/bread crumbs stick.
