Christians...

Agree or disagree with the principle of this quote? (from a bible reader's club/ pastor in training FB page and one of my "friends" on FB wrote this passage) Why or why not? (Non-Christians feel free to answer as well)


Some days, more than others, I feel like God's children should be allowed to live on our own "perfect" little island. As good as this sounds, it's selfish of me to want that. We must live together with those who actively engage in sin. Why? We are here to worship God and try to turn as many weeds into wheat before the harvest.

Disagree....all people "actively engage in sin". That's life. Christians are no less sinners than everyone else.

Disagree. There are VERY few people who would truly deserve that perfect little island. Christians are sinners just like non-Christians.

Well. I'm not Christian, so sorry for answering...


But isn't that "island" called Heaven? And isn't it the reward for all the "temptation" you're around during life, spreadin' the good word?

Disagree. Every single person on this Earth sins, every day. Those who claim not to are smurfs and extremely naive.

Im sorry---wasnt everyone born with original sin???? I cant stand these people who think because they go to church 7 days a week twice a day that think their better than everyone.

My thoughts precisely, even this post is engaging in sin. Self-righteousness is a sin. and sins are not weighted, that is human law, not God's law. A sin, is a sin.

Yep and definitely not this guy. He tried talking to me while his wife was pregnant both times. LUST and OMG after someone other than his wife, there he goes sinning again, he's kicked off his own island.
