I didn't start bleeding for about a week after

I started bleeding right after it came out. It might be because the string was hiding so he had to dig around for it (sorry tmi). I got mine out on Thursday, but the bleeding is just getting heavier.

hmmm, yeah that could be why.

Mine came out with no issue and I never had a period with mirena, so the dr said I would just start to bleed when my normal period was "due", which just happened to be a week later and then I had periods regularly.

When I did bleed, it was heavy though.
