Yep. Mine was like a normal period but it can be just like you described.

Mine lasted about a day and was like the beginning of my period, and very painful, but i don't think that's normal. i'm assuming that's what it was anyway lol i went to drs that day, it was the day the drs say i conceived, and had a negative pregnancy test and then 4 weeks later got a positive.
