Gauged mommas..

So I got a few questions....
1. I am at a 8 gauge but I wanna stretch to a 6 gauge how do i do that?
2. do i need to go to a tattoo parlor to get it done?
3. what size are yours?
4. what made you gauge and stretch?

All you have to do is buy size 6 tapers. They have thrn at jewelry/piercing shops. Some places will do it for you.

oh ok cause im a dental assistant and idk if i can just buy a size 6 plug or not and just put it in.

There are a variety of ways to stretch. I used stainless steel tapers and tunnels from Amazon. Some people use tape. Some just shove the next size plug in. You don't have to go anywhere to do it. I think it's a waste of money to have a person shove a taper into your ear when you can do it yourself just as easily and more gently.
Mine are at 00g right now which was my original goal size. I went from no earrings at all [had pierced ears] to 0g in 2 months. I used tapers the whole time. I don't know what I'm going to do now that I want to stretch to 7/16 because I can't find tapers. And I just like the look. Same as anybody else   I like the options and I just ordered a pair of real turquoise plugs. So excited! I never wore earrings when my ears weren't stretched.

I prefer waited tapers. Ive gone up and down in sizes for yrs and they always shrink up nice. Im currently at a 00

all you need is size 6 tapers, you can get them online (cheaper) or at places like hot topic. i've never heard of going to a tattoo parlor to do it?

I didnt buy tapers at first I used at home tools..and lube lol. Not sure what size it was but I used a screw driver for one of my sizes. I have a pic on fb of it lol. I didnt want to waste money on tapers id wear once or go somewhere...

i had my ear pierced before but just normal ear rings. I found out i was allergic to metal so i avoid it like the plague. any ways I got my ears gauged to a 8 in one night.

Yeah I'm allergic to nickel which is why I never wore earrings. They always made my ears itch. Stainless steel is hypoallergenic for me but I mainly wear silicone, wood or stone plugs. And I got to 8 really quickly too. Some people have really stretchy lobes. I went up like a size a week until I got to 2 and then 0 and then I waited almost 3 months [I think] to stretch from 0 to 00.

ya when i got my gauges they said i could come back if i wanted to have them stretched but i didnt know if it was ok to do it myself or not.

Going so fast like that it may not go back to normal if u choose to not wear gauges anymore. Go a little more gradual from now on. Sometimes u can find a pack that has the taper and gauges together at like hot topic or spencers

what i ment was i didnt stretch to a 8 i had them pierced to a 8 gauge haha but i wanna go up to a 6 because they have some super cute plugs in that size.

Yeah definitely go slowly. I don't recommend going as fast as I did. I'm just impatient and luckily didn't have issues.
