Ugh, being a responsible adult/parent

I still feel like a teenager when making appointments and what not for myself and family, lol. My mom, of course, made all my appointments and took care of everything insurance related for me till I was out of college and now I have to do it all!!! I don't even know what I need to have ready when I call places and what questions to ask and I know next to nothing about our insurance. I have to get my shot records (from a different state) for a new job I'm starting. REALLY? I thought I was done with that type of stuff. Oh-well, end rant, lol.

I make my husband make appointments for me. Lol
I have anxiety about talking on the phone to strangers. :-/

I don't like talking on the phone much at all. DH is worthless when it comes to this stuff though, more so than me anyway, lol.

I wish my mother would had done that, I had to take care of all that as soon as I got pregnant. It's very simple, if you want to kill two birds in one shot, you can just call your insurance and make an appointment through them.

Our ins is very specific with "in network" docs so most of the time the doctors know exactly what our ins covers and what it doesn't. It's just all of the responsibility altogether, it's overwhelming sometimes and I am really trying not to put things off!
