Facebook Comments

You know that window on the right side of your FB that lets ALL of your friends see everything you post as a comment on pages you've liked, etc?

Is there any way to hide that? I'm part of a public FB group about birth and such that shares medical studies and such. But, we're not telling 95% of the people on my FB that I'm pregnant for about another month...so I can't mention ANYTHING about this pregnancy in those comments without my whole friends list seeing that I'm pregnant again.

HOW can I hide this?
Thank God a friend pointed it out right after I left a comment about how my OB was using scare tactics to bully me so I switched doctors (which was what the article they posted was about)---luckily, she was a friend who knew I'm pregnant, so I hope I caught it before anyone else saw!

...I've never seen that when I've logged on from my computer. I hate how comments and likes shows up, I don't see any point in that service and unsubscribe doesn't work.. fb is becoming MySpace.

I know you can make it visible to certain people by clicking on 'custom' but I don't think you can make it just visible to a certain page or group.

I don't think you can opt out of it. Or, at least I haven't found a way to do so.

Okay, so now I can't comment on any FB groups because I don't want ALL of FB to see it.

I'm just going to have to not post at all---can't stand this.

I'll probably just leave the group because its frustrating as hell not being able to speak my mind.

The group is VERY informative, though

Can you hide the posts from that group until you announce instead of leaving?

I can't figure out how to hide the posts/comments.

Thats what I was asking how to do here. They've all said there's no way to do it.

You can hide the posts from that page on your newsfeed by going to the top right corner of the post and a little x or pencil will pop up and you click it. I don't think there is a way to actually hide if you post in the group from that little side thing though.

If I can't post in there, hiding them instead of deleting the group makes zero sense. Why leave them on my list if I can't see/reply?
