Dealing with People

I'm 19 and teen mother of a 16 month old and pregnant with another. I am constantly getting dirty looks from people even when I'm with my SO and lately people even have the guts to ask me if I'm 14 or 15. I've tried just ignoring them because they don't know me or my story and I don't care but with hormones and people actually coming up to me its a little harder.

How do you guys deal with it or respond something like that without giving them the wrong impression?

You don't look 14 or 15 at all..

I had my first at 20 and got pregnant with my second when he was 8 months old.

No one gave me dirty looks but if they did they'd get a big "SmUrf YOU" lol

Haha thanks and thats what I've been tempted to tell them but thought it might not sound so great.

People care THAT much? lol

My sister was pregnant with her second at 19....she never got looks, or smurf, not even from her rich stuck up grandparents (the same people who asked if she could get rid of her first) I'd just try and ingore them...who cares what people think.

People give me dirty looks all the time and I'm 28. They clearly think I'm a teen mom. I just give the death stare and keep walking.  

Tell them you are 12 and if they had a cigarette you could bum.

I'm 23 and married, but people still stare at me just because I look young. I just ignore it. People who are focused on judging you are doing so that way they don't have to reflect on their own short comings.

I'd stop introducing yourself as a 19 year old teen mother of a 16 month old. If people don't know that, they wouldn't think twice.

I did that as info to explain my problem. I don't introduce myself that way.

I'm constantly getting dirty looks as well. I just blow it off but if people were ever to say anything about my daughter then there would be one big issue.

Well If they wanna look let them. Like you said they don't know your story and or you. I'm 19 with 2 kids and another on the way... So don't let em get ya down ok
