If your child is on a schedule..

posted 7th Oct
What time do they go to bed and how old are they? Do the older kids get to go to bed later? Whats the absolute latest time you'd let your child go to bed even as a teen?

Also, Do you bathe them every day or every other day, etc.?

Thanks!

DD's on a general schedule. She eats around 7, plays for a little while, then bath and bed NO LATER than 8:30, when she acts sleepy.

She sleeps until 8-9 some mornings, and others she's up before SO goes to work. It all depends.

ETA: She is 14 months old.

Bath at around 7:45. Then lays to go to bed at 8:15ish. And he's usually sleep by 9pm! Depending on If we went out to do errands or go places!

Mine are 1.5 and 2.5 they have always been on a strict schedule. DS sleeps at 8pm and DD sleeps at 930pm. They sleep through the night for 10-11 hours each. I bathe them every other day, unless we've been at the park, they are bathed as soon as we get home before dinner. I have no idea what time they'll sleep as teens that's a ways away still lol

I didnt read the last part. Sorry.

I bathe my oldest 2 everyday (especially if they have been at my mom's house because she smokes and they come home smelling awful)

My younger 2 get baths every other day....til we move in a house with a better bathroom. They bathe in the sink for now in the kitchen

My 6 year old lays down in bed at 730 and is allowed to watch tv or read until 8. He normally doesn't fall asleep until about 830 though. And my 2 year old goes to bed at 8. She wakes up every morning at 6 though so on weekends I let them both stay up until 9-930 so that we all can sleep in lol. And they get baths every other night.

Both kids take naps at noon and go to bed at eight , eight-thirty LATEST, daily. I have them everyday but they are at school for naptime, and home for bedtime. Ages- 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 . Schedules in this home are essential for my sanity

My 3 year old goes to bed between 8:30-9. He gets a shower every day in the summer, every other day in the winter(he gets sick a LOT) either in the morning or night, or both, depending on the day.
My 3 1/2 month old obviously has no schedule lol. This week he settles down for the night around 11. I bathe him every other day in the morning.
When they are teenagers the latest they'll be able to stay up on a school night is probably 10:30. I probably won't even have to enforce that with my oldest, he loves to sleep lol.
