my son is almost 7 months and he has only had 1 bottle today at 5:30 this am its now 1:15pm and he has not had a bottle but he did have some cereal for breakfast and a yogurt for lunch. should I give him dinner when its time or should I wait till he has another bottle? he IS having wet diapers TIA

He needs to stay hydrated. Will he drink some water?

He needs the bottle, the good is only so they can practice eating but not mandatory like the bottle

At 7 months old he needs to be having WAY more than 2-3 bottles a day!!!!! The food you feed him in between is just for practice.

My son refuses his bottle when he's teething and his gums hurt. Maybe that's what it is? I just keep offering it, and he'll take a couple sips then stop.

ya ill try some teething tabs right now see if that will work

Id def give him a bottle he needs to be hydrated and his formula is going to be his main source of carbs and nutrients at his age

i have tried he wont take it and i just gave him teething tabs to see if that will help

Hmmmm. I didn't realize you were saying he wouldn't take it.
Yeah it may be the teeth thing. Or maybe his tummy is upset? I would just keep it near him and try to get him to drink as much as possible. You can also go out and get him some pedilite and try to get him to drink that.
If he stops drinking all together and doesn't have a pee diaper for 6+ hours then I would call the doctors and see what they want you to do.

he needs formula or breast milk, not solids.

Oh sorry didnt realize he was refusing the bottle. Well in that case give him food like you have been but your gonna need to find a way to keep him hydrated especially if hes only had 1 bottle today.

thanks guys I gave him teething tabs and he finally drank a bottle like 15 mins later   i just wasn't sure what to do he just cut his 4th tooth so I diddnt think about teething tabs that maybe another was coming in lol

Oh yeah.   My oldest got hers in two at a time   Poor thing.
Glad he's feeling better
