Baby's first birthday theme

DS is six months, I want to go ahead and start planning (I like to be organized).

Throw out some themes for first birthdays. Please no Poohbear. Toy Story was DS#1's first and his second was Spongebob. Help please  

Also, my third niece and him share a bday so I'm not sure if we're having their party together (I don't want to, everyone else does). If we do the only thing I can think of that's for both boys and girls is Mickey and Minnie.

I would recommend just a regular birthday theme - colorful balloons and stuff since its his first birthday. You could save the more cool themes for next year or the years after when he might remember more or recognize the characters. If not though, i like the Mickey and Minnie theme for a joint party or even Toy Story for a joint party. Seperately, Cars, Sesame Street, Bubble Guppies, or Thomas the train

Kayden's 1st bday party was curious george and for jayce is going to be mickey mouse.

My son's theme will be "sock monkey" while he was in the NICU I bought one for him..we took pictures and monkey was much bigger than him. We take monthly pictures to show how much he has grown so what better way to end the first year than with sock monkey theme

The sock monkey is a wonderful idea for a first birthday with that much meaning to you!!!


I'm buying decorations at Party city, so anything online I can get lol. All these ideas are great. I think everyone wants a bounce house at the party cause Chey is turning two and DS#1 has an inflatable Waterslide at his second.

I'm doing "a very hungry caterpillar". Check out pinterest. So many ideas that are easy for us non-creative people.

I was thinking about a circus type cause the colors but I'm still unsure lol.

already ordered sons cake, he will be 1yr November 4th. I got him Mickey Mouse Clubhouse because he will stop and stare at the t.v. when its on and dance/clap with the music

so far I've got cookie monster on the brain but idk. I guess we'll see.
