Swedish meatballs...

Anyone have a good recipe for Swedish meatballs? I really want to make some, it is a good hearty food for fall.

depends.. do you like sweet ones.. or ones in like a brown gravy??

mine are sweet... but always a hit.. and there are rarely enough!

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup milk
2T diced onion

mix above and make into small meatballs, place in cakepan

mix 1 cup ketchup
2T diced onion
1/4 cup vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar..
mix and pour over meatballs
bake at 350 for 1 hour

I also made mac and cheese with bread crumb topping with it!

Sounds good! I have only ever had them with the brown gravy but those sound good too.

i've only ever had them in brown gravy too. i had no idea you could make them another way. lol.
