I'm having a ganache emergency!

posted 7th Oct
I made chocolate ganache for my chocolate cupcakes with semisweet chocolate and heavy cream. The problem is that it's way too bitter/dark. How can I make it more sweet?

I tried adding powdered sugar to heavy cream and mixing that in there, but now I'm out of heavy cream and I don't want it to be grainy. What can I do?

maybe melt some regular chocolate in with it? Will that change the consistancy too much?
